The Wizard lap was created by the late, great, master faceter Dick Walker from a very hard thermoplastic. It is a thin disc that must be supported by a master lap when in use. This is a bit of faceting history – and a nice “bail out” lap to have in your kit. They can be cleaned and used with different polishes. These two laps are lightly-tested with Dick Walker’s Alumina Suspension, but have been washed clean and are in “like-new” condition.

This lap works with both our Voodoo Magic Polish and with our XXX polishing system.
It works great with oxides, especially AlOx.
This lap is recommended for medium-hardness stones like quartz, feldspars, beryls, etc.
This lap NOT recommended for hard stones like spinel and corundum.
