Most of the 2009 “mining season” was really a steel fabrication season for the Bonanza crew. Here’s a short story about the building of our Sunstone Screen:
We started with a dilapidated trailer frame that
had been so overloaded that nearly every weld was broken.
Chuck gave it a few love-taps …
John gave it a little TLC …
We added a set of springs …
… and repaired the piece that
“tool-time John” broke.
The “test engineer” worked so very hard…
The rocks jumped like popcorn.
Ken added a spiffy paint job…
The partners had their “Sunstone Schooner”.
Here she is on her first cruise.
We fed her with a bobcat.
Had a sorting party.
… and counted the loot …
