Rough Choices

Every year, around Tucson time, the main question people ask me is “Which dealers are honest”. My answer to that is two things:

  1. You should know how to tell which dealers to work with and which ones to walk away from.
  2. The WHAT of rough shopping, and the skills around that are vastly more important than WHO happens to be popular.

This video shares my ideas about those things, about rough-buying strategy in general, and about rough-buying specifically for the newer faceter and also for the person focused on learning. There are some detailed comments about managing budget, and about buying rough strategically for your progression in the art.

I hope you find it useful.
